[11] Mixed-Up Names
1-2hrs

The players are split into two even teams, and each is allocated a base. Depending on numbers, each team can then be split into individuals, pairs or trios.

One leader remains at each base, the others are free to hide to wander around the playing area. Each leader (optionally including the ones at the bases) has a task to run and enough task completion tokens to hand to each mini-team/individual. Each leader also has a name card, which can be anything, maybe related to the theme of an overall camp: Famous knights, monsters, footballers etc.

Armed with these names the leader at each base decides on a secret find-order. Say, ‘Dr. Who, Tony Blair, Sir BigNose, Garfield, Cpt. Kirk’

At the beginning of the game each individual, pair, trio is given the name chosen ‘at random’ of the first person they must find (i.e. any one of Dr. Who to Cpt. Kirk). They must hunt out the correct leader, complete whatever task is set for them, receive a ‘task done’ token and return it to their base. If they can not complete the task, then they must still return to their base to get the name of the next leader in the find-order they must find.

After either all groups have attempted all tasks, or after a certain period of time, then the game ends. The winning team is the based on the base with the highest total of task completed tokens.
