We've added some directions to the site. Please let us know if these are inaccurate or could be improved.

Look for this sign, leading off from Charley Road ...

... and then down the track though this gate, remembering to close the gate behind you.

This is roughly where we are, right in the mid lands of the midlands. Halfway between Nottingham and Leicester, just off the M1 near Junction 23 (Shepshed).

multimap: Look just above the 'A' in CHARNWOOD, there is Gisborne's Gorse. Oaks is just to the right, and is accessed from the road at point '139'. The map can be zoomed in-out for better referencing.

multimap: The long thin field between the two sides of the wood is clearly visible. Most of the huts and activities are in the woods at the bottom middle of the photo.

streetmap.co.uk: Kinda think both multimap & streetmap use the same Ordnance Survey maps. This link has an actual arrow to the 'spot'. The thick blue line is the M1, Oaks is about half way between junctions 22 and 23.
