From Chasetown, Lichfield area

1. to M42 North signposted The North / Nottingham / Burton
2. Eventually changes to the A42 - Continue on the A42 to Junction 13.
3. Take the 3rd. Exit onto A512 – signposted Colerton and Shepshed.
4. Continue on the A512, quite a way, passing the George Inn on the Left.
5. After the George Inn, carry on to the next roundabout & go straight on at the roundabout.
6. A few yards past the roundabout, Turn Right, onto a side road, signposted Whitwick.
7. Carry straight on for quite a way until you come to a T Junction.
8. Turn Right, into Talbot Street, signposted Shepshed.
9. Carry straight on, through Whitwick to the Forest Rock Pub crossroad.
10. Carry straight on, passing the Monastery on the left till you come to another crossroads.
11. Signposted Charnwood, pass the Church, on the left, till you come to a T Junction.
12. Into Charley Road & carry straight on, past a farm gate till you come to another farm gate, Springfield Farm, with a green sign with yellow lettering on it and Turn Right, into this gate which is also the entrance to the campsite.
From M1 Southbound

1. Come off the M1 at junction 23 (Not 23A!).
2. Take the A512 to Shepshed (and Ashby).
3. At the second set of traffic lights turn left (signed for Mount St. Bernard Abbey).
4. Continue on this road for about 0.8 miles (past the Jolly Farmers on the right) to a crossroads at the saddle of the hill.
5. Take the road on the left, signed for Oaks in Charnwood.
6. Passing Lubcloud farm on the left, the campsite is on theright (on a bend) after Oaks Road. It's the gravel track after the track sign-posted with footpath on it!.
From M1 Northbound

1. Come off the M1 at junction 22 (Not 23A!).
2. Take the A50 towards Leicester
3. Take the first left signpost towards Markfield. At the top of this short off-road ...
4. Turn right towards Copt Oak. A bit of a downhill, uphill stretch.
5. Once at the traffic lights turn right and at the next set of lights continue straight on.
6. Follow this road for a few miles to a cross roads, sign Oaks in Charnwood to the left & Woodhouse Eaves to the right. At this junction take the left turn.
7. Follow this road under the motorway bridge. There are two SLOW warnings painted on the road, approaching a blind corner. Take notice of these SLOW markers as the track to the Camp Site is just past the bend.
8. Look for the sign to Springfield farm as it is a shared drive. Go through the gate marked private, and the Oaks is straight ahead down the lane.
From the A42

1. Take the A512 signed for Shepshed.
2. You will pass the George Inn on the left, at the roundabout continue straight on the A512 (2.4 miles from A512 to roundabout).
3. You will pass the George and Dragon (0.7 miles from roundabout) and the Bull's Head (the road winds to the left here) (0.6 miles from George and Dragon).
4. Continue passing Crossways Garage on the left and a windmill in a field on the right (you may not be able to see this at night). Take the next road on the right, marked Oaks in Charnwood, this should be about 1.4 miles from the Bull's Head.
5. Continue on this road until the crossroads and take the road directly ahead.
6. Passing Lubcloud farm on the left, the campsite is on the right (on a bend) after Oaks Road. It's the gravel track after the track sign-posted with footpath on it!.
