Pack Holidays

	The Clarke Hut is the Oaks Campsite pack holiday building and is suitable for Cub/ Brownie Pack Holidays as well as Beaver sleepovers.
	The building has been extensively refurbished over the last few years to a high standard and offers the following:

	A main hall approx 60’ x 30’ with chairs and tables for 50 people (more available on request)
	Two bunk rooms – sleeping 8 and 4 person respectively.
	All areas are heated by gas central heating
	The building is equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke/heat detectors.

The kitchen is fitted with stainless steel surfaces and shelves, a six-ring gas cooker with large double oven. Large hot cupboard, fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle. Hot water is supplied to the sink. The kitchen is accessed by double doors and as serving hatch.

Toilets consisting of a combined washroom (3 toilets, 4 washbasins) and a separate room with toilet and washbasin (suitable for a wheelchair access). This arrangement gives flexibility for female/male use. Hot water is provided by an electric water heater.

Sleeping capacities for the hall are:

	Scout Association:- Main Hall 30 + 12 in Bunkrooms
	Guide Association:- Main Hall 24 + 12 in Bunkrooms for guides/YL/Rangers & Guiders

To help with budgeting the charges for the hall includes all gas and electricity.

The main season at the Oaks runs from April until October – At weekends during this time there will be a warden on site. The Clarke Hut can be hired during the week or at weekends in March and November. However there will be no full time warden on site (they are on call and visit each day). During these times the building has a phone for your use.
