| The observant will spot that this page is similar to the Cub camping page, well it’s not that different; Brownies have been camping at the Oaks since 1992, which was the first Brownie camp in Leicestershire. | It is also equipped with benches, chairs and seating for 30+. The building is used with the adjacent camping site and makes it ideal for Brownie camping. |
| The Alpine Hut is situated at the edge of the woodland and is separated from the camping field by a dry stonewall. |
| There is no need to bring a mess tent or marquees or loads of tables, benches etc. You can cook, eat and use the building for quite activities, but have the sleeping tents out on the field. |
| Should the weather turn bad, then the building is suitable for emergency accommodation. |

Toilets and that stuff.
